1. Detailed Discussion with
Client
Before
an engagement is accepted, we hold detailed discussions with clients about
the position, how it fits in with the rest of the organization, and the
"must haves" versus the "wants" of the ideal candidate.
2. Listen to Specifications
After an assignment
has begun, we develop detailed specifications that describe the scope and
qualifications of the desired candidate. The spec is subsequently used as
a primary vehicle for publicizing the position to potential candidates.
3. Identify
Candidates
Potential candidates are identified through discreet inquiry among
contacts whose ability to recommend people we have come to trust, as well
as an extensive analysis of the marketplace by our Research Department.
This process of going to our network contacts,
generating original research and contacting those individuals will be
concentrated in the first few weeks of the assignment.
4. Progress
Meetings
Progress meetings are requested throughout the
project to ensure the assignment is on track and to make the client aware
of any particular issues or concerns.
5. Reference Checks
Formal reference checks are initiated only after it has been established
that a specific candidate is of definite interest to the client.
Assistance is provided, as required, in final employment negotiations.
6. Continuous Feedback
After finalists are presented, interviews are
arranged and feedback is provided to and from each party. After the
selected candidate has joined the client company, regular contact is
maintained to ensure that the expectations of both client and candidate
continue to be met.
